Compatibility & integrations

Brokerages and platforms that work with ChartXpert AI Options

The desk is an independent options analytics layer. It reads SPX and 0DTE market structure on its own, and connects to a brokerage account only when you ask it to — read-only first, order routing only behind an explicit, revocable consent.

What each link covers

One row per capability. Analytics never needs a brokerage; everything below it is opt-in.

Supported brokerages

Interactive Brokers logoGlobal

Interactive Brokers

Global multi-asset brokerage with a documented trading API

The desk links to an Interactive Brokers account through the broker's own API session — either a managed session we host for you, or the local bridge program running beside IB Gateway / TWS on your machine. Positions, balances and option holdings are read into the desk; nothing is sent to the broker until you grant the order-routing scope.

Derayah Financial

Saudi brokerage for Tadawul and US market access

Derayah members use the desk as an independent analytics layer: SPX and 0DTE studies, dealer gamma exposure, flow and contract measurements read in the browser, with the trade placed in the Derayah platform itself. Account reading is not connected — the desk never asks for Derayah credentials.

How a link is set up

  1. 1

    Activate a membership

Create your desk account and activate a plan; every plan opens with a one-time three-day free trial. The analytics surfaces open immediately, with no brokerage involved.

Example: Viewer, Trader or Trader Pro — the trial starts on activation and renews monthly unless cancelled before it ends.

  2. 2

    Authorize the account link

On the connections screen, read the scope catalogue and authorize the link. Each scope states what it reads; order routing is not included here.

Example: the read scope covers positions, option holdings, balances and reported fills — nothing is sent to the brokerage.

  3. 3

    Choose the session path

Pick the managed session we host, or the local bridge program that runs beside IB Gateway / TWS on your own machine. Live and paper logins are both supported.

Example, local path: generate a pairing code, then paste the shown command into PowerShell next to a running IB Gateway.

  4. 4

    Pick the account to read

Once the session is live, the desk lists the brokerage accounts it can see and you choose one. Its positions, balances and option holdings appear in the portfolio ledger.

Example: switching to another account is the same step again — the previous selection stops being read at once.

  5. 5

    Order routing stays optional

Routing is a separate consent with its own acknowledgements and is revocable at any time. Until it is granted, the link can read but cannot send an order.

Example: every command, parameter change and kill-switch action is written to an append-only audit trail.

How access is contained

  • Read-only by default — a link that can read positions cannot send an order.
  • Order routing is a separate consent with its own acknowledgements, revocable at any time.
  • Every command, parameter change and kill-switch action is written to an append-only audit trail.
  • Revoking a consent purges the stored credentials, bridge agents and linked accounts.

Integration questions

Compatibility

Do I need Interactive Brokers to use the desk?

No. Every analytics surface — SPX studies, gamma exposure, flow, contract measurements and alerts — works with no brokerage link at all. Linking a brokerage only adds your own positions and, if you separately consent, order routing.

I trade through Derayah — what do I get?

The full analytics desk. You read the SPX tape, dealer positioning, flow and per-contract studies here, then place the trade inside Derayah. No credentials, no account link.

My broker is not listed — can I still use the analytics?

Yes. The compatibility matrix only describes account linking. Analytics is broker-independent: the desk reads the US options market itself, so a member on any brokerage — local or international — sees the same SPX and contract studies and simply executes wherever their account lives.

Can I link a paper (demo) Interactive Brokers account?

Yes. Both live and paper IBKR logins are supported on the connections screen — the pairing code you generate is bound to the environment you pick, so a paper session never reads or touches a live account. Members usually pair paper first to see the ledger fill in, then repeat the step for live.

Setting up the link

What exactly happens when I link an account, step by step?

Four steps. Example of a first link: you open the connections screen and authorize the account link (the scope catalogue lists what each permission reads); you pick a session path; the desk confirms the session is live and lists the brokerage accounts it can see; you choose the account to read and its positions, balances and option holdings appear in the portfolio ledger. Order routing is not part of this flow.

What is the pairing code for?

It links one bridge program on one machine to your desk account. You generate it on the connections screen, paste the shown command into PowerShell or a terminal beside IB Gateway / TWS, and the code is consumed once. A second machine needs a new code, and revoking the link invalidates it immediately.

Do I have to activate a plan before linking a broker?

Yes. A membership is activated first — every plan starts with a one-time three-day free trial — and the connections screen opens with it. That order exists so the account link is always attached to an identified member with an audit trail.

Sessions & connectivity

Managed session or local bridge — which should I choose?

The managed session is the default: we host the brokerage session, so nothing has to stay running on your machine and the link survives a reboot. The local bridge suits members who prefer to keep the brokerage session on their own machine beside IB Gateway / TWS; it reads only while that program is running.

Does the link break when I sign out of the desk?

No. The link belongs to the account, not to a browser session, so signing back in shows the same linked account. It stops only when you revoke the consent, or — on the local path — when the bridge program is closed on your machine.

Permissions & safety

Can the desk place a trade without asking me?

No. Order routing is a separate consent scope with its own acknowledgements, it is revocable at any time, and every command is written to an append-only audit trail. Revoking the consent removes the stored linkage.

What happens to my data when I revoke the link?

Revocation purges the stored credentials, the bridge agents and the linked brokerage accounts, and the portfolio ledger stops reading. The audit trail of what happened while the link was active stays — it is append-only by design and cannot be edited or deleted.

Data & accounts

Do you store my brokerage password?

The managed and local session paths authenticate against the brokerage itself. Where a credential must be held for a session, it is encrypted at rest and scoped to your account only; the desk never displays it back and never shares it.

Which account fields does the desk read?

Positions, option holdings, balances and the fills the brokerage reports for the linked account — the inputs the portfolio ledger and exposure views need. Personal profile details, funding instructions and statements are not read, and each member reads only their own linked account.

Can I read more than one brokerage account?

The session lists every account it can see and you choose which one the ledger reads. Switching to another account is the same choose-account step again — the previous selection stops being read as soon as you change it.
